The Kennedy Space Center recently saw the fastest car and that is Hennessey Venom GT. The unique speed of the new 2014 edition of this car was possible because of the engineering team of the company which suddenly decided to combine the beauty of Lotus Elise roadster and Exige coupe model. Now you must be wondering what would happen if the body of Lotus Exige has the horsepower of 1244 bhp. There is no doubt that an accident is bound to happen. But it didn’t as the company took utmost care to see that there is a lot of improvisation made to the body to fit in the power.The team that took the initiative came with experience from F1, Le Mans and Bonneville. They took the body of Lotus Exige and then did the modification of the chassis. They made both the body and the tires with carbon fiber. They had put in innovations like an adjustable rear wing, adjustable suspension along with active aerodynamics.The suspension was replaced completely and then an engine was put in the place of the old one. This new engine is three times larger than the previous one. 
Here you add the power of the tiers of Michelin Pilot Super Sports which are massive in size and have 20 inches rims at the rear. This 7.0 liter V8 engine of GT was created at the General Motors factory and it got its new shape by the specifications provided by the Hennessey. To give your car the horsepower of 1,224, you would get twin turbos attached to your car engine. This means that the car along with its design in the American flag color of red, white and blue can also produce crashing speed. It can reach from 0-60 mph at 2.4 seconds. And in only 13.63 seconds it can reach the speed of 186 mph from the start. The reason behind the achievement of such high speed is the production of 1 horsepower per kilogram of curb weight from the car. This has made the car as the fastest one as well as the hardest-accelerating car too.
